As always, student safety is our number one concern. For this reason we have put the following measures in place.
Student Arrival
Please drop your child off at the entrance on King Dr. before school. Students are then asked to proceed to their line. A staff member is assigned to each yard for supervision purposes. The bus loading zone is always a no-parking zone and reserved for loading and unloading of buses.
Student Dismissal
The dismissal time for all students is 3:35. We ask that parents picking up their children do so on King Dr. We ask for your support in ensuring the bus loading zone remains clear of traffic so our students can load busses safely. If you arrive early to pick up your child, we ask that you wait until pick up time at 3:35 p.m. in order for us to stick to our safe dismissal routines.
In order to limit end of day classroom disruptions, we ask that students leave early only if it's absolutely necessary, e.g., for an appointment. If you are picking your child up early, please either send a note with your child and/or call the main office before 3:00 p.m. When you arrive, come to the parking lot door and ring the buzzer to speak with a staff member. We will bring your child to the door to meet you.
Any "same day" changes to the end of the day routine for your child must be communicated to the main office via phone call by 3:00 p.m. at the latest. We will not be able to accommodate any requests for changes after this time as it is a very busy time of day.
